About the Owner
Green Mountain IT Solutions was founded by Tim West, who now serves as president and oversees operations. Before starting GMITS, Tim worked in the Vermont IT community specializing in small business services. He has also worked on projects for national brands such as CVS Pharmacy and Morgan Stanley. Tim was educated at Vermont Technical College and Colby College and is experienced in a variety of technologies, especially Windows administration, Microsoft 365, and small and medium business (SMB) networks. He also has a passion for open-source technology.
In his (limited!) spare time, Tim is a dedicated music fan. He also loves cooking and fishing the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain. Tim lives in Colchester with his wife Madison and two cats, William and Meow Meow.
